CMMID Seminar | Modelling the impact of new diagnostic tests on drug resistant gonorrhoea epidemiology

Katy Turner will present results from a novel individual based network simulation model of gonorrhoea transmission in men who have sex with men. The model incorporates multiple strains, including drug resistant strains and flexible options to determine management of individual patients, based on individual diagnosis (e.g. new point of care tests), extended use existing data (susceptibility testing) or current treatment recommendations.
