Friday 17 November: The Third Man film and panel discussion, 5:00 pm

Here at the LSHTM building, we will be showing the film The Third Man and talking about how the film depicts the roles of antimicrobials in society and how this has changed today – and there will be a reception afterwards; you can’t have a movie without food!

The plot of The Third Man deals with the use of antibiotics after World War II and how their limited availability demanded high prices and dubious use – but no spoilers! Come along to see the film and understand more about the impact antibiotics have had on society and how this has changed over time.
